Ⅱ- 06:SUPERBIRD

What did they look like? Did they look like us? (p. 10)

At the beginning of this book, a person gets a interview about his journey to the other planet twenty years ago. There are two planets in this book. One of them is earth, and the other is the outside of earth. When you read this book, please guess which the talker comes from first, and you can enjoy this book more!
I think people are so afraid when they meet people from the other planet. And the talker also does. Fortunately, the air of this story is rather good because of the nice characteristic of the protagonist, but there is probability that the fear becomes to exclusion of the different people. So the ending might to be bad if it is supposed that the main character is too afraid to people from other side. That's because some scary can be fights between different spices... Thinking such a issue which we rarely think through a book is interesting!
And, before I read this book, a person introduced this book in the class activity. He said that this book reminded him of center examination because similar story appeared in it. I think a book makes us think of many things!

Ⅱ-05:Jojo's story

"Why do people fight?" I ask Chris. (p.22)

The begging of this story is so impressive. There is only a boy in a village. Except him, there is no one. The truth is that every people but the boy was killed. When bad men came to his village, he was out and his life was survived. However he lost his family and his home. He tries to be quiet to hide from the men. but his chicken makes a noise and he is found by solders. But, fortunately, they are not bad men. They comes to help the boy, Jojo. And he meets Chris who takes photographs of conflict eras for English newspaper. At that time, he was a boy. But he changes through the story, so this is the "Jojo's story".....If you have some interests how he changes, please read this.
When I read this book, I was so sad because people kill someone. Jojo askes chris why people fight. Chris says he dosen't know. I don't know too. Probably, the answer is so complicated. What can we do for them? We can think such a thing by reading the kind of book. I wish people change into good.

Ⅱ-04:Within High Fences

'This is our country. Not theirs.' 'Our country? Who are we?'(p.17)

The main character of this book is a woman called Nancy. She lives with his boyfriend who has a lot of money. Her boyfriend always buys her what she wants. she can have all and she was satisfied with her life,  at first.  But, he is a problem man. He doesn't like Nancy doing something. He stops her writing and wants to make her stop working. He thinks that he can control her at all!  And as the another characteristic of him, he hates asylum seekers. He thinks that they steal things and rob jobs and money of him. While, Nancy works at a center for asylum seekers and she knows that they need help because of bad problems in their countries. She gradually becomes unable to understand him and she is growing apart from him. At that time, she meets a man who is one of the asylum seekers and she thinks only about him instead of his boyfriends. She wants to be close to him more and.....

In this story, the sense of values are different between Nancy and her boyfriend, which cause an accident. Especially, Nancy is for asylum seekers and her boyfriend is against them. In fact, there are those who accept people from other countries and those who don't. Through this book, we can think of the social problem of immigration.
